About Us

Sycamore Farm was originally established as an orchard in Higganum, CT in 1922 by John Watrous, the Great Grandfather of Diane DiGioia. John Watrous was the first farmer to grow peaches in the Northeast. It is on its fifth generation of farmers, and is currently owned and operated by Peter, Diane, Leah and Nick DiGioia. Peter and Diane have been operating the family farm for the last 30 years, making necessary changes as the market calls for it.

Established in 1922, Sycamore Farm is a 5th generation diversified livestock farm. Ranging from grass fed beef, grain fed pigs, to chicken and market lambs; as well as beautiful equine facilities.
